an ok thriller

hey dudes what you expect from story of such.......agreed the movie could have been better....acting wise imran was super and sanjay also did a gud job...i believe all in all it was gud plot but if anything was missing,it was from the director...he could have made it much better.a real gud classic..maybe his dream to release his dream project soon,was the problem..
overall it was fine........especially imran..a very bright future........

Kidnap

I don't know - maybe I don't expect too much from a movie - but unlike the critics review - I really enjoyed this film. New faces/ decent music and an actual story. I found the script clever and loved the title sequence method of story telling... relationships/ a bit of action/ eye candy/ fab music and locations - I don't know what you look for in a movie - but this one has a bit of everything. Not the best movie ever - but I didn't regret buying a ticket for this flick!

good & bad

the good side of the film is Imran Khan.he has done a very good job.sanju is as usual.i dont 'bout minisha's mom.she played 35 years old mom,thats ok.but minisha looks older than her.she is down point of the film.film is good.but it could be better if its a 1&1/2 hours of length.

strictly okay

Kidnap has nothing new, same old kidnapping stories of aged incident - revenge feeling - kidnapped hasina - crying mother - super solid father - dead end.
Gadhvi had this script even before he made Dhoom 1, I guess that was the best period for this movie.
The promise Imraan shown in first movie actually looks grey from this film. Jane.. was his luckier break I guess - he should be very chhosy in selecting roles.
Anyways I say its one time watch and surly better than Drona. Do one this hire a DVD and nJoy if you have nothing to do and ready for some popcorn TP :)

After z success of Jaane Tu, I had such high expectations frm Imran´s 2nd venture bt alas, I was so let down! His performance was kinda sexy & rough bt he cud´ve done better! Bt one wudnt blive zat Sanjay Gandhvi had directed Dhoom 2; z latter was so cool & hi-tech bt Kidnap cud´ve easily fitted among films released 5 or 8 years ago! Minissa was just 4 show - thk any ozer actress wud´ve suited z task + she didnt contribute much 2 zis film. Songs ´Mit Jaaye´ & ´Hey Ya´ r worth listening 2...overall, can b watched only once! dnt thk it´ll remain as an evergreen movie!

I suggest u watch Drona first, before jumping to any conclusion for the worst movie..
BTW kidnap is a good movie...
after seeing bad movies like welcome to sajjanpur , drona and 1920 ... I thought this movie is a life saver..
