Big B comforts ailing Mehra
by Sanjay on May 4 2009 11:56PM (IST)
It is shame on the people and their thinking who thinks that Big B's visit to ailing Prakash Mehra is a public stunt. Can these guys don't think straight? And again to bring SRK mention out of context looks fishy. BTW, SRK is nowhere near to Big B.

Death's head
by Jaysan Jerx on May 5 2009 4:57AM (IST)
The thing is, old zombie Bachchan might scare the poor man to death with his frightful appearance. But, hey, that would generate real publicity. Hahaha.

Agreed-shameless publicity again for the bachans,if not one than the other
by nachlle on May 4 2009 3:58PM (IST)
absolutely agree with sabssabs, if it really is out of friendship and humanity, then there is no need for it to be so well publicised. i see it axs nothing more than a pr exercise, and as far as i know of amitabhs blog, he only ever writes about things so get his name in the papers, lest it be the slumdog millionaire scandal or self-satisfyingly proclaiming how he has sent such and such a star flowers, well-wishes for their recent film. What happens, the star then has to publicly respond to amitabh and say how amazing and thoughtful he is and how sweet it was for him to send a message and thus the bachans get more column inches. Some may argue that it is simply politeness on amitabhs part but please the fact that he keeps a running log of all the people he has helped on his blog for the world to read, shows me that there are more sinister reasons underlying his fake acts of kindness.

Big B comforts ailing Mehra-Shameless act of Publicity
by sabssabs on May 4 2009 1:38PM (IST)
It is shameful that Amitabh bachchan has turned the issue of visiting an ailing old friend into a PR exercise and is trying to derive mileage from it by publicising it. By the way in his career he owes everything to Prakash Mehra. Without his 'benevolence' in casting a new comer like him in Zanjeer Bachchan would have retired as an accountant from some Co. That makes this cheap act of publicity doubly shameful. And even when he went to Shahrukhs home the news was that it was Shahrukh who had invited him there.Mr Bachchan please realise that visiting an old benefactor cum friend should never be projected as benevolence if u have some modicum of shame left with u.
