crapy movie ever

what a crapy movie...nobody wanna watch movie like that, they can only make ..eastern ppl fool...like that..and who has time to watch boring slow and sad movie.who has time to watch...when everybody go though stressfull life...sucks sucks 0/5.........

Hi, first thing first. The torture scenes are good, but why it was being done ? So that is US law, u have to prove u r not criminal, and indian law government has to prove u r criminal. Why there is no single major attack by jehadis after 9/11, becoz environment has become like that no one dare to support to make things happened. This US people has screwed up all, who can help jehadis in such a way that they even dont dare to help in their dreams also. And why not, at the end of day it was question of their own security and nation. And though it is bad, but i think few innocent people had to suffer because of that strict enforcement. Why innocent people killed by afghani and talibanis and other muslim terrorist group ? Why can't kabir khan make movie which shows real nonsesne face of terrorism ? he can't ? he dont have guts to go against his own community, because he will be killed next day, simple. Dont make movie just to earn sympathy; if u r making movie on real grounds. Bull shit. and for oscar, i think they dont even deserve to get single penny award. forget it. i got headache for 3 days after watching movie, 300 Rs and + 150 doctor consultation. hopeless.

i think it is a sensible movie to watch... katreena is beautiful.. and acted well too, as for neel .. i just loved him .. very good at emotional stuff.. john looked grt and acted well overall a good movie to put money on ... well done kabir khan!!!!

i watched this movie only because of this review with my partner. This is worst movie I have seen in a long time. Movie emotions everything look forced and artificial. Reason of John becoming a terrorist and Katrina knowing it is most laughable situation I've ever seen. You owe my 300 Rs Mr.D'Souza.

New York is a must watch...All the four actors John, Katrina,Neil and Irfan Khan have given a rocking performance. Neil is looking cute, Katrina looks beautiful and John too hot and best among all.......I wept a lot at the end of the movie.

The movie was well made and well acted only when it got serious .. The first part was loose and amateurish . The characters lacked substance , and so did the script. I was about to walk off but after the 9/11 the film took a better turn. Rest of the movie was also pretty good. I would give it 3 or max 3.5/5 .. Take a look at hollywood films , they are so full of material and substance. Bollywood is nowhere getting near to it...

no it is an excellent movie to describe the condition of muslims after 9/11 i am also a muslim and i know what happened after 9/11 thank you so much mr kabir khan to making the world aware of the event 9/11

Problems with the movie:
1. Character show no life
2. Hindi Speaking Cop.. LOL
3. John does not look like college student
4. College life shows no life
5. No cases of anyone getting tortured in NY. other places yes but not NY .. nothing in news or anywhere.
6. Intially they may have faced backlashed like one should expect it but no large number of cases of any real consistent hate crimes like Land Down Under. Cops treat every bad in NY but they never cross the line. Parking tickets and traffic violations yes but NY Cops hardly cross the line.
7. So someone gets tortured and he becomes a criminal after that. I need more reason. Hard to accept.
By the way, how do you know what people are treated in NY like? Ever lived there? Any experience? I can count about 2000 plus days in NY where I have never witnessed any desi get treated like they showed in the movie. From my experience Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, and Nepalis love living in NY and would not move anywhere in the world.
