mission istaanbul is yet another film which loses its balance b/c it's not a complete film. you can't sacrifice production values with script or vis-a-versa. i think bollywood is stuck with making 'ok' films; we can make incredible films if we stepped away from our 'ok' problem and it shouldnt be due to sheer luck either. perhaps india needs an artistic renaissance [b/c i looks like to me the struggle for stylish international grade entertainment is closer to being attained]. we suffer from a good story writer recession. until we dont solve that, really thought provoking and exciting films on face value like 'mission istaanbul' will strictly be 'ok'.

i don't know why shabbir is not mentioned in this review inspite of giving a brillient performance.
Shabbir looks hot and scary. I just loved to hate Khalil. Shabbir you Rock man, keep it up
