All the sites gave rave reviews for singh is kinng which deserved noting and this movies was not done with good reviews... but folks if u need a different experience like that of rock on and a wednesday... go watch it............

It is indeed a very good movie. Shyam Benegal's penchant for exploring the myths and realities of village life was well depicted in the movie. The big talk of globalisation and economic upliftment of people does not percolate to the people in the village although one of the characters tries to explain the benefits of nuclear energy. Kudos to Benegal for his successful attemt in presenting serious issues on the celluloid in a lighter vein.
