Like many of her colleagues, Smita Shetty has had work experience on the Gujarati stage, in films and in tele-serials too. Some of her Gujarati stage credits include MOTU KUTUMB SUKHI KUTUMB, which was directed by Kanti Madia, in SARASWATI CHANDRA, ALOKHAN and in PEHCHAN (Hindi), which were directed by Kamlesh Mota and BAA-BAPUJI NI TWENTY-TWENTY, which has been directed by Dharmesh Vyas. In the Gujarati tele-serial Aa Amari Style Che, she has played the lead role.

She has worked with Sushmita Sen in the Hindi film Zindagi Rocks and has acted in commercials too. Recently she has appeared in the promo for “Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hai Kya…?” with Shah Rukh Khan. She also has experience as a dubbing artiste in teleserials like Kumkum and Main Teri Parchain Hun.
