Wonderful play.. not to be missed!!

I watched this play in 2004 at St Andrew's, Bandra. It was certainly a treat, much better in most aspects than Rahul Da Cunha's other play "class of 84" which in itself is a great play.
Boman Irani was expectedly awesome but I was surprised that Sudhir Joshi upstaged him and delivered a fantastic performance. Kunal Vijaynkar delivered the goods in his rather short cameo of a role. The play was poignantly funny while at the same time being deeply touching. I left with a heavy heart and had looming thoughts about how easily the older generation is ignored and left to fend for themselves when they most need our support and caring.
Mumbai has one of the best theater scenes in India. Plays usually run to packed houses. More and more amongst the new generation are rightfully turning to theater as a medium of artistic expression.
This play is not to be missed at any cost. I remember that I was a student at VJTI and saved up to watch this since the tickets are usually pretty steeply priced. It was entirely worth it!!
