Sankar's Interview

Hi
Just read the interview of Sankar Venkateswaran by Asmit Pathare. Congratulations,you gave a nice representation of how we hold him in our hearts, but u know
1. His name is spelt wrong in the heading.its SANKAR not Shankar.
2. would have been nicer if his training style, his methodology was written about a bit more specifically and in detail.
anyways hope we will get to read more about this wonderful trainer & others in near future.

Thank you Kajli! Its very heartwarming to see such responses.
Regarding you concerns,
1. The spell error is an inadvertent editorial glitch. I shall bring it to the editor's notice.
2. If you read the other interviews in this series, you'll notice that a similar pattern has been followed while interviewing all the instructors at IDP. The objective was to know them, their influences, objectives and views on contemporary theatre that is being practiced. Training style and methodology become entirely different topics which need separate observation and documentation and need to be written about in a different context again.
I sincerely appreciate your concern and also hope that you understand what we are trying to achieve here.
