A DAY AT THE MALL is the story of Saavi, a middle class girl, an independent working professional. She has recently ‘come into better money’. Saavi has a holiday from work one day and she resolves to enjoy this holiday doing something she’s never done before. She’s going to the mall!!!

The play is a dark portrayal of Saavi’s metropolitan life laced with the mirage of happiness called shopping, one that requires no reasoning. To summarize:
A DAY AT THE MALL is a horrific laugh in the face of the pace we walk today in a crowded place.

Meet Saavi. Saavi is anybody and everybody. Saavi is somebody.

This is Amorphous Theatre Productions’ debut play. The group is a community of people, a homogeneous mix of working professionals, budding artists and an all adept crew.
