Vastupaad Tejpaad

By MTG editorial

‘Vastupal- Tejpal’- the names evoke the famous Delvada Jain Temple, which is one of the finest Jain temples built in 1230 AD. The two brothers, Vastupal and Tejpal built the temple. This play is about them.

The brothers were born in a royal family, but fate played a cruel game. They lost everything but their honesty. They overcame their situation and became the richest businessman known in Gujarat then. They became ministers to the King and deftly handled administration matters to eradicate corruption and bureaucracy.
