A collage of three stories, the play portrays the horrors of a famine devastated village. During the famine, it is the backward class of the village who suffers the most. The government help meant for them barely manages to reach them, as the more powerful upper caste people reap the benefits of such aid. The story unfolds through the eyes of a lower caste boy who witnesses various atrocities committed on the poor people, who due to the famine fail to fulfill even their basic necessities.

‘Manaskhor’ has been written by Rajiv Soni while ‘Nayay’ and ‘Gidh’ have been written by Upendra Ashk and Brijesh Shah respectively. The stories have been adapted for the stage by Dhanendra Kawade and the light design for the production is by Arghya Lahiri.
