A quirky tale about a man & his beloved cycle

With the recent surge in Marathi cinema in abstract content based substance here's another film which shows just how much the industry can flourish if freedom is given to the writers.

The trailer was launched recently by Viacom 18 which shows snippets and gives a brief idea of the film.

CYCLE is a light hearted story based in the heart of Maharashtra about a man who is deeply attached to his bicycle and he loses it when two thieves take it away from him after a burglary to escape.

Named after the titular character, the trailer shows two thieves after robbing a house and grabbing the loot escape of a bicycle which they find on their route to escape and use it.

Wherever they go everyone else immediately recognizes them and asks them about the cycle and how they came about to possessing it as tales of the original owner and his affection towards the bicycle are renowned and everyone knew how attached the previous owner was.

The film stars Hrishikesh Joshi, Priyadarshan Jadhav and Bhalchandra Kadam in lead roles.

Written by Aditi Moghe who has delivered films like HAMPI and COFFEE ANI BARACH KAHI in the past.

Directed by Prakash Kunte who has directed films written by Aditi Moghe and has teamed up again with her on this project as well.

Produced by Happy Minds Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Viacom18 Motion Pictures, the film is scheduled to release on May 4th 2018.
