Checking out Akshay Kumar’s PAD MAN, the film which opened on a decent note expectedly picked up very well over the opening week netting 40 crore . The weekdays too saw a very steady run and the collection were further boosted by the Maha Shivratri holidays. It is but obvious that PAD MAN is set to be another century hit for Akshay Kumar. Having said that, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s PADMAAVAT has dented its collections to an extent, but all that is part and parcel of the game called box-office. PAD MAN is decent in the overseas grossing £103,000 from UK and $690,000 just from the US, during the opening weekend (9-11 Feb).
