KUNWARA BAAP - Though the movie was an adaptation of Chaplin's The Kid, the Indianization of story was perfect. It was first of its kind endearing poignant father -son relationship film in Bollywood , made way back in 1974. Directed by Mehmood , he played the role of a KUNWARA Baap, a rickshaw driver who adopts the abandoned baby and raises like his own kid. His heart changes when he discovers that the baby is inflicted by polio and decides to take his utmost care. He even lets his handicapped son participate in the race and makes him win it.
