The recent movement #MeToo became a social media rage and thousands of people and actors from across the globe stood for her.
The movement kicked off on October 15 in as there were allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.
After Richa Chadda penning an open letter on her blog the next to share his view on the same is Irrfan Khan as he never shies away from speaking his heart out.
During the media interaction for QARIB QARIB SINGLLE Irrfan spoke about how he was asked to compromise in the field and what did he do next.
Without taking names Irrfan spoke about how he fell prey to invitations, “It has happened with me a lot of times. It won’t be good to take names but a lot of times it has been hinted to me and sometimes I have been told clearly that if I compromise I’ll get the job. But now it doesn’t happen. It has come from both, males and females. It becomes slightly weird because when people you know and respect a lot, give you such offers, you feel that the dynamics of the relationship will change. That’s the sad part. But I have the power to accept or refuse them.”
“If there is a person who is repeatedly doing these things, he must be exposed. It’s necessary to talk about him.” ends Irrfan.
