Just few days back during the launch of his latest show India's Next Superstar, filmmaker-host Karan Johar was asked if they will invite Kangana Ranaut on their show (which he will be judging along with Rohit Shetty) to which he had replied, “Our heart is big, our house is open to all. We will happily, lovingly and respectfully welcome her on the show.”
Now confirming the news that she has been indeed invited as a guest judge on Karan’s show, Kangana was quoted saying in Mumbai Mirror as, “I am looking forward to being on the show. It is a professional commitment for which I'm being paid. What is delightful is that Karan is okay with doing the show with me and seems to be slowly warming up to me."
On Karan’s statement of lovingly and respectfully welcoming her on the show, Kangana reacted, “I'm happy that Karan is making me feel so welcome, but I think I have been worthy of every platform I've been on. I've earned my place and deserve to be on it. Nobody has to open any doors for me I am capable of opening all the doors myself."
Talking about her decision to appear on the show the actress further added, “I am the epitome of the show’s tagline 'Na khandaan, na sifarish... Bollywood ko hai sirf talent ka intezaar'. Being a self-made woman and actress myself, which is precisely why the channel wants me."
Last year Karan Johar and Kangana got involved in a spat where Kangana blatantly accused Karan of being the ‘Flag bearer of Nepotism’ on his own show Koffee With Karan. Later on Karan took dig at Kangana on several platforms accusing her of always playing the victim card.
And now with both of them appearing on the same show we wonder if they even end up working together on a film as well!
