This is a story shot in the locales outsides a metropolitan like Mumbai. The story revolves around a big chemical co. 'K.S.B. Chemical Co.' owned by the Biwalkars who are in close association with Baba Saheb (Mohan Joshi), leader of the ruling party. The plot begins when the manufacturing process of the co. starts emitting hazardous gases. This results in poluting the surrounding area and death of children.    Sunita (Varsha Usgaonkar)is wife of Vijay Nadkarni (Sayaji Shinde) who is a manager in the same K.S.B. Chemical co. She starts raising her voice against the K.S.B. Chemical co. which inturn imbalances her family life. She tries to take help from the doctor, police and also her college friend who is leader of the opposition party. Sunita demands shifting of the co. and monetory compensation to the family of victims. But all efforts goes inwain aginst the power of money.    Sunita starts taking help from colony people. She launches a hunger strike in front of the co. Finally after facing greate difficulties and atrocities truth finds its own way. Sunita succeeds in her 'LADHAI' against the wrong.
