Sakha Ram(Satva) is a hotel owner on Kolhapur highway. One night Prabhakar Karmarkar (Rajo), a lawyer from Pune, whose car failed on the highway visits Sakharam with his wife Pallavi and enquiries about near mechanic and requests him to look after his wife till he comes. Sakharam treats her whole night with great generousity and hospitality. In the morning Prabbakar comes getting car repaired. They leave to Pune while going Prabhakar gives his visiting card and they invite sakharam to their home if at all he comes to Pune.

Sakharam falls in love with Shanta and marries her. One day Namya , who is working in his 'hotel falls down from a tree and admitted in hospital. It was raining. Sakharam and Shanta come to Hotel for money. Sakharam takes money to purchase medicine and asks to Shanta to stay back. Same time prabhakar comes alone. Sakharam welcomes him and introduces his wife and leaves to hospital. As it was raining cats and dogs, prabhakar was held up and could not control and gets excited and rapes Shanta.

In the morning Sakharamram comes and finds his wife dead and then leaves to Pune to take revenge on Prabhakar. Pallavi and her small daughter Nikita treats him very harmly and with great affection. Prabhakar is getting repented and getting nervous with his presence in the house.

Meanwhile one day Chandrakant Patil who is Prabhakar's client comes from Mumbai and stays in his house. Again same type of situation arises, Chandrakant Patil tries to rape Pallavi wherein Sakharam comes and kills him in process of saving her.

With this Prabhakar realizes his blender and repents and gets astronished and apploused for his deed. Pallavi comes to know about Prabbakar's mischief and scolds him and feels ashamed of being his wife and wants to leave home.

Sakharam stops her and tells that he had come to kill him but then he thought if he kills him who will be punished, not him but Pallavi and Baby Nikita who treated him as Brother and Mama, that why he never killed him. He has killed Chandrakant, because he cannot be changed and by killing him he has saved lot of other women. He feels happy to change Prabhakar and to kill chandrakant and goes to Jail.
