Shahrukh KhanTalent has this trait of lying latent and dormant owing to energy not being channelised or opportunity not being given to express it, but it proliferates out like a lotus in the full bloom and makes the whole world glow in its effervescence. Another aspect of the talent is that one, who owns it, wears it very lightly on his shoulder. This became explicitly manifest in the special KBC-II show where Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani were invited as celebrity contestants.

Shahrukh Khan zapped the audience, both on the programme and those sitting in front of their TV sets in their drawing rooms when he informed that Sanjay Dutt had won the best shadow guitar player award at an show-guitar playing competition eons ago, and when he was requested to display the talent the hands were flowing as if they were in reality waltzing on the strings of the electric guitar. It was a precocious display of a genius of a mind who could understand the vital nuances of strumming the guitar. Besides, Boman also mesmerized the audience when he sung the famous anthem son' We are the World,' in whole of the multitude of voices which have originally given the play back to this songs, and each expression of vocal chord of its hue, was clearly distinct in the exposition that Boman displayed. Never after Kishore Kumar was a performance on display where a singer could sing in so different voices, of such stretched out octaves in both genders, male and female. Kishore Kumar had tried this antic in DILLI KA THUG where he sung on both male and female voices.

This exposition of talent provides immense possibilities to the film fraternity to experiment with this musical side of both Sanjay Dutt and Boman to come up with a musical that would surely attain a cult status. This is evident from the past of the industry. Amitabh Bachchan used to sing impromptu at the gatherings among the friends, and one find day he became a part time singer. Sanjay Dutt's finesse of guitar playing also reflects a romantic side, which is still unexplored in his case but for a SAAJAN and to a little extent in SHABD, as he has been strait-jacketed into the bhaigiri type of films.

ShabdIt was a Yash Chopra who had given a change of image and provided an opportunity to the public to experience for themselves the romantic side of AB through KABHIE KABHIE. It is high time someone from the young stream takes up this challenge of coming out with a romantic movie which could give another romantic hero to the silver screen, but of an adult type, and it also seems to be the demand of the time as the puppy romance has started losing its stream. Talent after all is like is water that it keeps on burrowing before it finds a place.
