In KRAZZY 4 the item number that Hrithik Roshan has done, would feature at the end of the film along with the credits as per the reports. If it were so, it would be a great tribute to the vital cogs of a film who make it happen, i.e. the technicians, the sound-recordists, etc., whose contribution generally goes unsung. When an item song is being interspersed along with the end credits, then the audience would not be eager to run to the exit but would like to see a Hrithik Roshan perform in his glory and by default would also be able to see the name of the foot soldiers associated with the film as well.
For the first time a tribute to these foot soldiers was done in a novel manner by Farah Khan in MAIN HOON NA where she saw to it that every technician got a footage on himself when his name popped up on the screen. She went on to do an encore about the same in OM SHANTI OM. The spirit of bon homier that such a small gesture spreads for the unit helps the in-charge of the unit reap its benefit for all times to come.
A trend of positioning a song at the end of the film along with the end credits has become a regular feature in Hindi films. It was there in BUNTY AUR BABBLY and so was it there in RANG DE BASANTI. In fact in RANG DE BASANTI the audience sat till the end till the song "Ru Baru..." ended and "The End", popped on the screen.
This trend has given another opportunity to the filmmakers to push one more song into the film, but with minimum of inputs, i.e. the song could continue to play in the background, but the song had to be captivating enough to rivet the audience to their seats even though the song did not have any star featuring in it per se.
KRAZZY 4 is taking this to a new level altogether, where one of the most famous actors of Hindi films, Hrithik Roshan has decided to do an item number. Apart from adding commercial value of the film, the song would surely make the audience sit up and notice at least few of those who are involved in making of the film but remain anonymous.
At last the credits are being given where they should be due.
