It indeed is a strange world, the film world. Friends work together or become great friends during the making of a film, but after the film is complete, owing to one misunderstanding or the other they walk away. Moot point is, whether it indeed is rediscovery of a relationship turned sour, is it an attempt to increase the TRPs or is it indeed a new rediscovery of a wonderful relationship from the past.

Aamir Khan and Salman Khan's relationship is an example of one such relationship which just picked off from where it had tapered off in the ANDAZ APNA APNA days in the episode of 10 KA DUM where both rode the same bicycle once again on which they had created the laugh riot ANDAZ APNA APNA. Aamir Khan had gone along on record to proclaim that his fans have been questioning him for long about the sequel to ANDAZ APNA APNA through his blog. After all, it is one of the all time laugh riots ever created in the Hindi film history.

Critics and skeptics may have a viewpoint that a film which has been a landmark may not be developed again in the form of a sequel or otherwise as an original masterpiece can never be recreated. They also have examples like RAM GOPAL VERMA KI AAG and others of the ilk to buttress home the point.

The crucial difference that is forgotten in this argument is that during this interregnum of more than twenty years since ANDAZ APNA APNA was made, Aamir Khan has emerged as one of the brightest directors officially or unofficially in the Hindi film industry who continues to score one hit upon the other on a regular basis.

With such a strong repertoire of hit films to his credit, and a production house which has come to establish itself as a company which pleasantly surprises the audience with every new venture, it would indeed be a delight worth its weight in gold, whenever Aamir and Salman decide to take it up. After all, these two have developed into one of the finest actors enacting comedy and two working in unison would be a tango worth every single rupee of money, skeptics be damned.
