In the film industry every Friday is a day of reckoning and fortunes are made or destroyed on a Friday. As they say a week is a long time in politics, but why nobody has said a week is a long time in the film industry as well? It is the public which pronounces the award both for the politicians or the actors, but for Sanjay Dutt though public has not announced its verdict in disowning him, the fraternity to which he belongs seems to have deserted him.

Sanjay Dutt could be one of the few rare persons who inspite of not being affected by the Friday syndrome finds that he has few friends to count upon, as he would be celebrating his birthday today. Films he is doing, but for a man who was tipped to take over the place of Amitabh Bachchan, he is nowhere in the reckoning.

On his birthday could Salman Khan not give him a birthday gift by bringing him on in 10 Ka Dum and be the catalysis in reviving the rapport between Sanjay Dutt and his audience. After all, for a star, connect with the audience on a constant basis is the primary requirement. Salman Khan was one of the persons who used to idolize Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Dutt had given Salman Khan all kind of help to find his moorings in the industry. Pay back time seems to have arrived for Salman.
