For Shruti Hassan it indeed would have been an existentialist dilemma to appear in the bikini on the eve of her debut film LUCK. But when it is the question of the ''Luck Ajmaish'' as the song of the film goes which incidentally is also performed and crooned by Shruti Hassan, the doubt would have indeed been set aside, manifest from the popularity that the song has attained.
LUCK indeed has to become lucky for all those associated with the film, and as the tag line of the film goes '' the only sure thing about LUCK is that it will change'' as be it Imran Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty or Danny Dengzongpa, they all need LUCK as their few last films have not been that successful. The moot point is would the charm of Shruti Hassan work to an advantage for all of those who are associated with LUCK?
Shruti Hassan would be one of the few female stars who is an accomplished artist having keen sense of awareness and nuances for the western music, and this should go in her favour. She has already established an affair with the audience through the title song, which is scaling all the popularity charts, and is a pointer to the fact that she indeed has a star material. She indeed belongs to a new generation of actors who are more in sync and tune with the world music and use it as their identification tag.
For Shruti Hassan she has an enviable pedigree in her genes having a father in the form of Kamal Haasan and a mother in Saarika who was one of the original coy girls of the Indian cinema, and it should work to her advantage when the film releases.
For Soham Shah it indeed would be an acid test after KAAL as the launch that he got in his career through KAAL under the patronage of Karan Johar is not there, but it has been ably substituted by Shri Ashtavinayak Films that is no mean a banner.
What could make this film lucky at the box office be the fact that after a long time even the female co-star would be standing shoulder to shoulder doing stunts and fighting for the cause. It indeed would be luck ''Ajmaish''.
