Labour as a class has been dealt with in an interesting manner in the Hindi films, and most often than not the father of the hero has been a labour leader while the son gravitates against it and turns towards capitalism. One of the lines of the stanzas was ''Mehnat apne lekh ki rekha mehnat se kya darna, kal gairon ki khatir kee aaj apni khatir karna'', still is the motto that is a binding force for labour as a class.
