Kishore Kumar must be a happy man that the inane innuendos that he used to begin in his songs is again coming into vogue, and with it being picturised on super stars they catch the imagination of the nation quite imaginatively. 'Dhinka Chika' from READY is one such song which is full of innuendos, but it has caught the frenzy of the nation. Is it more of a south Indian trend, making its mark in the world of Hindi cinema slowly or what one does not know, but in the world of South Indian music such innuendos as opening line of the songs has been quite popular. What makes 'Dhinka Chika' tick is that professes unending love for the beloved throughout the year without any waxing or waning as the year progresses along and it is not for the first time that a song that factors in all the seasons of a year has not become a hit with the public. Industry also now seems to understand the importance of giving the due credit where it is due, and Bhushan Kumar may have started a new trend with READY and one only hopes that more such examples would illuminate Hindi film industry in near future as well.
