It indeed is one of the apparent paradoxes of Indian cinema or for that matter Indian society per se that if there is a character being played by him in a film and it has an element of rustiness associated with its name itself, as it was in ROCKSTAR where the transformation of the character or rather his acceptance into the high society only materializes when he changes the name. So when Janardhan Jakhar was renamed as Jordan, he immediately got acceptance into the high society. Indeed, the paradox becomes more so apparent considering the fact that those who portray the characters of high society have names that are as esoteric as one could think off, as it was Heer Kaul for the character played by Nargis Fakhri.
