Read on to discover more about the actress....
The 'Real' Neetu Chandra is like... I am a simple, hardworking family oriented girl. I am a director's actor onscreen. (Laughs) Off screen, I become my mothers cook.
Your sex appeal? My sex appeal lies in my attitude. I am an eternal optimist.
First date? I had many guy friends and we used to chill out but I never had something like a first date.
Beauty or brains? I think it's a package deal so I want both of it. In my profession a combination of beauty, brains talent, acting skills and dance works.
Would you ever join politics? No. I don't want to do something like that at the very onset of my career. Besides I am more of a social worker. I am the brand ambassador of social welfare of the girl child in Bihar. I want to support them financially and help them in their studies.
One thing you like about Mumbai? People are very professional out here. They treat everyone equally and are rocking and very helpful. Mumbai has accepted me with an open heart. There's really no place like Mumbai.
Do you believe in rebirth? I want to be reborn as my mum. She's a great woman and I blindly follow her.
What's your take on pollution?
Small little things make a difference. We are educated people and are also aware of the ill effects of pollution. We should stop using plastic bags; each one should plant a tree etc.
Most cherished moments of your college days? I was awarded by the Prime Minister in 2003. I got the Best Student Award for Sports and academics. It was basically an all rounder award.
Your take on ghosts? I am not too sure if ghosts exist but ghost films scare the hell out of me.
What is sense of humour to you? I guess I have a good sense of humour. Making others laugh is sense of humour to me. It can be a PJ also.
Favourite quote/mantra? 1) 99% is equivalent to 0% 2) Practice makes a man perfect
One thing you can't live without? I can't live without my mum. I am extremely close to her.
Craziest thing that you've ever done? As a kid I was a complete tomboy. I remember picking up fights with guys. And lately it's the TRAFFIC SIGNAL preparation I'd say. It was really crazy sitting on the footpath and dressing up like one of those Kathiwadi girls.
Spirituality to you means... Just being myself is spirituality to me. Talking to ones own soul is spirituality to me. One has to be at peace with oneself. A bit of meditation, puja and helping others is spirituality to me.
Last time you took a cab... That was 3 months back when my car broke down in Bandra.
Last time you cooked... I love cooking. I make lovely chicken and my dad drools over it.
Last time you cried... Just 10 minutes back. I am missing my mum and she's unfortunately not here with me.
Turn on? A good personality turns me on.
Turn off? Bad breath puts me off. Guys should take care of body odour.
Most prized possession? My glares, my first car- A white Santro and presently it's the Honda civic.
Your weakness? My Mum
Strength? My family and a few friends.
You are crazy about? 'Dancing'... I enjoy classical dancing. Also I've been practicing western dance for the past 2 years. I am also an avid sports person.
Favourite food? I am crazy about good food, my favourite being fish. I love sweets also.
Your fashion icon? I have my own style. I don't like to follow anyone. I am a normal jeans T-shirt person. I don't consider anyone as a fashion icon though I like the way Angelina Jolie carries herself. If you were 16 again... I'd surely go for a date since I missed it in college. My idea of an ideal guy has to be someone who's well versed with everything, in all areas. He should have a great sense of humour and be able to converse intellectually. I can't spend time with a dumb and boring guy.
Your favourite colour? White
The costliest thing that you possess? My car and a sari gifted to me by my mother.
What do you do in your spare time? I wish I had more time to do things that I enjoy doing. I love gyming, dancing, cooking and talking to elderly people in my spare time.
