Now music launch of 'Hum Tum' on radio channel
Radio has never seen it so big... Radio Mirchi is all set to create history by launching the music of a Yash Raj flick, "Hum Tum", through a one-hour special live across India.
The music of Yash Raj Productions' "Hum Tum", a romantic comedy starring Saif Ail Khan and Rani Mukherjee, is being formally launched on Radio Mirchi in Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Indore and Ahmedabad Friday.
This launch marks the foray of radio as a medium moving to the next level: connecting Bollywood to the masses. Over 20 million Indians would be part of this historic moment, with the largest ever audience witnessing a live music release.
The music of the film is produced by the hit duo Jatin-Lalit who have to their credit hits like "Mohabbatein" and "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge". The lyrics of the movie are written by Prasoon Joshi.
While the music is refreshingly soothing, "Hum Tum" is a novel look at the relationship between "every man" and "every woman". What makes the movie unique are the two characters "Hum" and "Tum" created by Karan Kapoor (Saif Ali Khan), a cartoonist with the Times of India.
"Hum" is a naughty prankster always eyeing an opportunity to take a dig at "Tum" who is the mature female. The duo symbolise the male-female conflict.
