In this confident debut as director, film editor Hirani has managed excellent cameos from his main cast including Sanjay and his father Sunil. Munnabhai along with friend Circuit and his gang make a living by settling financial disputes through using his clout as a small-time don. But his parents who think he is a doctor running a charity hospital come from the village to meet him and he is exposed, thanks to Dr Asthana who had wanted his daughter Suman to marry Munnabhai. Munna now decides he must become a doctor. He not only wins over everyone with love and care with his magical hug but also manages to cure some patients, thus winning the love and admiration of both Dr Asthana and Suman.

Urmila, Saif and the slick pace make this songless film come out with flying colours.
Told in flashback, it is the story of how travel agent Sarika falls for Karan but is forced by him to confess for a crime she did not commit and is sentenced for seven years. Living in prison with hardened women criminals, she transforms from a middle class girl to one seeking revenge for the wrong done to her. She now knows the truth about Karan. She manages to escape thanks to the help given by hardened criminal Pramila who operates from jail, with the police in hot chase. She does meet him, but he is also being chased - by the underworld. She decides she must eliminate him, but in her own way.

A strong film with a gripping script, it has Amitabh towering all the others. Deputy Commissioner of Police Anant Srivastav, an honest police officer on the verge of retirement, has only one adversary, Senior Inspector Shekhar Verma who is corrupt. But Anant gets support from his immediate juniors Inspector Sachdev and Inspector Ashwin Apte.
The other policeman, Inspector Angere, is a mystery man. The story is about the suicidal mission of bringing dreaded ISI agent Iqbal Ansari from Chandangarh to Mumbai for a court hearing and the fight they have to put up against terrorists and against corruption within their ranks.

Begun by Anant Balani, the film was directed by Sudhir when Anant suddenly died. Kareena manages to show she possesses talent though she cannot shake off the look of being a high class girl. Aman Kapoor is an investment banker who meets Chameli one night when taking refuge from a downpour at Flora Fountain in Mumbai when his car breaks down. He is nostalgic as he had lost his wife and unborn child on one such stormy night. Chameli tries to lure Aman in various ways, but fails. However, this helps him discover the other side of this girl and he helps her when her tormenters come after her and even influences the cops in trying to save her.

Megastar Amitabh is again above the others in this version of James Foley's 'Fear' where the attempt has been to capitalise on the duo of John and Bipasha. Ria is the apple of her father Dr Ranvir Malhotra's eye. Both father and daughter share lovely and treasured moments together though Ria finds her father's attitude somewhat possessive at times. Problems arise when Ria falls in love with Aryan, who is very different from Dr Malhotra's idea of an ideal match for his daughter. Aryan is wild, unpredictable, and obsessively overpowering and lures Ria. Ultimately Ria discovers that he is a psychopath but is rescued by her own father.
