Bollywood Rocks at Fairone Filmfare Awards-2005

Picture GalleryJaved Jaffari the master of Ceremony appeared as Amitabh Bachchan's SARRKAR look with beard and throughout the evening kept appearing in different looks doing different acts including the Salaam Namaste 'Exactly' act. Cyrus Barucha made the audience laugh endlessly every time he appeared on stage as an anchor. Pooja Batra, Lara Dutta and Tabu also appeared as co-anchors to add spice to the evening.
 
'I must say I am delighted and happy with the overall event and its management. Everything went off perfectly and with whatever feedback we have received so far it appears that the show was a hit', says Anuj Saxena who is the director Marketing, Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd the main sponsor of the FairOne Filmfare awards-2005.

Neha Dupia and Udita Goswami matched steps with him. Shamita Shetty paid tribute to Parveen Babi. Madhuri did the eight-minute act on Devdas's 'Dola re dola' and 'Maar Dala'. Aishwarya Rai rocked on 'Kajrare'. Abhishek Bachchan danced on 'Right here right now' and 'One Love' followed by Punjabi Bhangra and left audience gasping for more. Amitabh Bachchan's presence at the function added special grace to the evening, as he was looking quite fresh. When Amitabh was declared the winner Abhishek was so excited that he appeared on stage from backstage and hugged his father.

The grand finale had Will Smith shaking a leg with Shaimak Davar and his troop. Will Smith gave the award to Rani Mukherji for best actress.

Anuj Saxena on giving Vidya Balan FairOne face of the year award said, 'Vidya Balan was more than a deserving candidate for FairOne face of the year and considering that she won by popular votes. It makes the award even more justified. I, personally was honoured to present the prestigious black lady to such a beautiful woman and I am quite sure for the next few years will also showcase such beautiful women for FairOne face of the year'.
