Download Dor WallpapersTORONTO: The Seventh Annual Reel World Film Festival was held in Toronto from April 11-15, 2007. This year a phenomenal lineup of special events and programs, free to all pass holders, were presented. The opening and closing night galas were held at the Scotiabank Theatre. The Closing Night Gala feature was India's 2006 DOR, a 65 minutes presentation in Hindi and Urdu with English subtitles. In DOR, two distinct women find themselves fighting to understand the details surrounding a tragic accident, which has led to the death of a loved one. It's complicated because the accident occurred in Saudi Arabia, where their husbands were gainfully employed. The relationships are the centre point of this film.

Tonya Lee Williams, Founder, President & Executive Director of ReelWorld Film Festival and ReelWorld Film Foundation, and Gul Panag, who played the important character role of Zeenat Fatima in the film DOR were at the event. In fact Gul Panag came from India to attend the Closing Night Gala event. Tonya Williams, in her address, thanked the participants for taking interest in the festival and making it successful. She said, "Presentation of the film DOR of the South Asian community is an important part of the festival. We keep encouraging communities to contribute tremendously in association with other communities."
