Villainy seems to be in, especially after Shahrukh Khan made it all look cool once again after DON. Now as it appears, Kamal Sadanah too has taken a leaf out of SRK's book and is making his big screen comeback as a villain in this Friday's release VICTORIA NO. 203.
Readers may remember that it was during the early 90s that Kamal had made his big screen debut with Rahul Rawail's BEKHUDI . It could have been one dream launch since he was paired opposite none other than Kajol. The film's songs like 'Mujhe Kya Pata', 'Aa Khel Khelen Hum' and 'Aayegi Teri Yaad' were big hits but the movie wasn't.
Later Kamal went on to do some insignificant films like 'Bali Umar Ko Salam', 'Hum Sab Chor Hain', 'Angaara', 'Nirnayak' and a few more but except for some recognition that he got from Divya Bharati starrer 'Rang' [yet again for it's songs], there wasn't much that helped Kamal's Bollywood career.
He subsequently went into a sabbatical and is now returning with his home production VICTORIA NO. 203. In the film he is enacting the role of a villain and is one of the many characters in the story who are after diamonds worth more than 100 crores. Another villain in the film is portrayed by Javed Jaffri while the vamps in the story are enacted by Preeti Jhangiani and Tora Khasgir.
A comic caper, VICTORIA NO. 203 is directed by Ananth Mahadevan and marks the debut of Sonia Vinod Mehra who is paired opposite Jimmy Sheirgill in the film.
