The last time Fardeen Khan tasted box-office success (and also won acclaim) was for Anees Bazmee's multistarrer, NO ENTRY (2005). His innocent, straight face comedy and his pairing with Celina Jaitley was loved by all. The next two years saw a number of his projects failing at the ticket window.
However, with a very important release (solo) of his career, Ram Gopal Varma's DARLING just around the corner (September 7), lady luck has smiled at just the opportune moment for the handsome actor. His performance in his latest release, HEYY BABYY, has been appreciated and noticed by the audience and the critics alike, specially his 'Parimal' take-off (Hrishikesh Mukherjee's, CHUPKE CHUPKE). And that despite the fact that he was pitted against the ex-action star and the new comedy king, Akshay Kumar and the comedy brat, Riteish Deshmukh.
