After gaining immense acclaim in LIFE IN A...METRO, Irrfan Khan would now be seen in a lead role in soon to be released APNA AASMAAN.

In the film, he plays a father of an autistic child who is a retarded teenager with a flair for painting. Shobhana, who has been known for her sensitive performance in MITR - MY FRIEND, plays his wife. The film revolves around the situations they encounter and the struggles they face while raising their child.

The film comes with an interesting tagline - "How far would you go to make your child a Genius?"

Kaushik Roy has played a major role in getting this film in place because he not just produces and directs the film but has also penned the story and screenplay. Also starring Anupam Kher, Rajat Kapoor and Dhruv Piyush Panjnani, the film is looking at a September 7th release along with DARLING and DHAMAAL.
