Anil Kapoor is getting inspired by Jim Carrey in WELCOME a la 1994 blockbuster THE MASK!

Surprised? Well you won't be if you catch the current promos of Aneez Bazmee directed laugh-a-thon. In the promotional video for the Sajid-Wajid composed title song 'Welcome' which is currently on air, Anil Kapoor is shown in various avtars that remind of Carrey's wild act in THE MASK.

Whether it is eye balls popping out by a wide distance on seeing a female beauty or multiple guns coming out from the pockets or many such special effects that were the hallmark of Hollywood riot THE MASK, the team of WELCOME has gone all out to create a hilarious look and feel for the character of Majnoo bhai played by Anil Kapoor.

In WELCOME, there is an interesting love angle involving Anil Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat. All set for a 21st December release, the film would be clashing with Aamir Khan acted and directed TAARE ZAMEEN PAR at the box office.
