Darshan Jariwala, the man who played Gandhi in GANDHI MY FATHER a few months back, would be enacting a negative character in Rajkumar Santoshi's HALLA BOL early next year.

2007 has been an eventful year for Jariwala who has fast made progress in his Bollywood career. His claim to fame has not only been restricted to GANDHI MY FATHER. Earlier this year he was also seen in AAJA NACHLE, AAP KAA SURROOR - THE MOVIEE, HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT. LTD. and GURU.

Now in HALLA BOL he plays the role of a villain who is challenged by Ajay Devgan. Devgan enacts the character of a superstar who starts a revolution against crime and social bankruptcy in the film. HALLA BOL is looking at a 11th January release.
