After numerous imports from west in films like RANG DE BASANTI, DIL JO BHI KAHEY and MARIGOLD to name a few, it's the turn of an actress from Far East to star in a Bollywood flick.

The actress in question is Lina Christianson who belongs to Thailand and features as the leading lady opposite Shreyas Talpade (who has enjoyed an eventful 2007 with films like DIL DOSTI ETC, AGGAR and OM SHANTI OM) in the film BOMBAY TO BANGKOK.

Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, the film is about a Mumbai thief who runs to Bangkok and comes across a stunning girl who happens to be a 'massage girl' of Thai origin. Their love story with a comic twist to it begins from that moment on and the chaotic yet funny journey they take from there is, as is the film's punch line, 'same same but different'.

BOMBAY TO BANGKOK, a product from the house of Subhash Ghai's 'Mukta Searchlight Films', is all set for a 11th January release.
