Shemaroo strikes a deal with Zee

Manorama DVD PackshotShemaroo Entertainment makes a deal with Zee TV for satellite broadcast rights of 10 Hindi films.

This agreement includes rights of well known movies namely DHAMAAL, DHOL, MANORAMA SIX FEET UNDER, MERA PEHLA PEHLA PYAAR, RAQEEB, YATRA and ANURANAN (Hindi version) among others. Zee TV has bought the satellite broadcast rights of these movies at a value of Rs. 260 million.

Vinod Karani, VP Content Syndication, Shemaroo Entertainment shares his thoughts, ‘We are really glad to be associated with Zee, for the various satellite delivered rights of these popular movies. Content syndication involves a lot of thought and planning, keeping in mind the nature of content and the platform of syndication. We are certain that this satellite deal with Zee will prove beneficial to both.”

Hiren Gada, Director, Shemaroo Entertainment further adds, “As a large content aggregator for broadcast platform, it has been our effort to bring the best of content on various broadcast platforms.”
