People working at the Cadbury office at Worli received a delightful surprise today as Bollywood's newest Director and Star of TAARE ZAMEEN PAR, Aamir Khan joined them for the afternoon as part of the 'MiD DAY's 'Kids Are Stars' contest.

This recently launched contest was heavily promoted by the afternooner, among media houses, agencies and corporate houses to help the movie amplify the cause of "Every Child is Special". The promotional text simply required contestants to answer a simple question based on the movie and send the SMS to enter the contest and the lucky winner would win a visit by Aamir Khan to their office, that included not just meeting the star, but also having all his office mates join Aamir as he shares his vision for children and the inspiration behind his latest movie.

Nipa Shah, the contest winner from Cadbury said, "Like most people I know I'm really looking forward to the movie and am a big Aamir fan. I am delighted that he is coming down to our office today. As news of his visit has spread, people from my office have been stopping by to congratulate me, and even thanking me as they get to meet him as well."

"I feel like a celebrity-for-the-day myself. And because Aamir is here in our office, it's like the entire office is a winner," she adds with a chuckle.

Mr. V Chandramouli, Executive Director HR, Cadbury, India says, "At Cadbury we always believe work and fun can coexist. And we are happy to be associated with this contest which has brought moments of delight to our employees."

Said Shishir Joshi, Group Editorial Director, MiD DAY Multimedia Ltd. "MiD DAY's about relevant news that truly provides value to the reader and society while being entertaining. We often run articles with a stamp of MiD DAY Impact on them that highlight the direct benefit that running a specific human interest story may have resulted in creating. Aamir's project has a similar objective, being both thought provoking as well as entertaining. We feel the tie up is very appropriate."

Said Abhijit Pradhan, Director Sales and Marketing, MiD DAY Multimedia Ltd. "A contest like this has a two way effect. It helps amplify the message that "Every Child is Special" and the role parents play in identifying that special quality in children and helping them realize their potential. The other is that "Make Work Fun" is a cause that MiD DAY has made its mission for the Young Urban Mobile Professional throughout India (YUMPI). This is one of many initiatives we have launched to bring the spirit of fun into a typical high stress and busy day of this individual."
