His film STRANGERS may have come and gone but director Aanand L Rai is still a content man.
"Right now the world seems to be moving in a slow motion for me", says Rai with a hint of peace, "I lived with STRANGERS for close to a couple of years. I finished the film in situations that had quite a few challenges and elements of fun. Now when I look back, it all seemed to have moved in such a fast forward mode. Comparatively, life seems to be moving much slower today as I reflect back on the days when I was bringing up my baby."
Doesn't poor run of the film hurt him? "There is a way you want to look at the result. Yes, who doesn't want his/her film to fare well at the box office? Still, we all did what we could to get the film on screens. I can go back and question if we could have done better in marketing or promotion but that doesn't help. The fact is that the select few who saw the film have given a positive response while majority of reviews have been fabulous."
What happens next? "I am moving on as I have a foot into the industry now. There is an exciting project with a good production house in the pipeline and there should be an announcement soon."
