Sanjay Gupta to showcase DUS KAHANIYAN in Barcelona

Sanjay GuptaProducer-director Sanjay Gupta is attending the Global GSM Summit in Barcelona representing Bollywood and showcasing his forthcoming venture DUS KAHANIYAN. Accompanied by actress Dia Mirza, who plays a key role in the film, Gupta will premier three of his short films from DUS KAHANIYAN between 12th & 15th Feb 2007.

Speaking of the occasion Gupta said, "Bollywood is a massive presence in world movie industry and South Asia represents the fastest growing mobile market in the world. I am thrilled at this unique opportunity to be involved in a project that has a promise and the potential to create a whole new distribution model for Bollywood cinematic entertainment. Our project DUS KAHANIYAN has been made keeping the mobile and digital medium in mind and the fact that today the market for short films has been given a huge impetus as the quality of video experience on mobile has improved significantly. This is a huge honour for White Feather Films to attend this esteemed summit of industry leaders and showcase DUS KAHANIYAN".

The GSM Association's (GSMA) Leadership Summit provides a unique opportunity for the mobile industry's leaders to participate in 'behind closed doors' discussions about issues that really affect mobile business. Over 350 CEOs, representing global GSM operators and vendors, will join together to hear about the strategic and commercial priorities that impact the future vitality of the industry from the industry's leading players. The Leadership Summit is taking place on the first day of the 3GSM World Congress 2007 in Barcelona's National Palace.

White Feather Films' mega venture DUS KAHANIYAAN is gearing towards completion and is slated for release in May 2007. A full-length feature film consisting of 10 short films of 10 and 20-minute durations, DUS KAHANIYAAN is one of the biggest productions from White Feather Films this year. The film boasts of a cast of 30 stars including Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, Manoj Bajpai, Arjun Rampal, Esha Deol and Vidya Balan.

The short films in DUS KAHANIYAAN have been directed by Sanjay Gupta, Jasmeet Dhodhi, Hansal Mehta, Meghna Gulzar and Apoorva Lakhia with prominent writers like Vishal Bharadwaj, Kamlesh Pandey, Gulzar, Javed Siddiqui, Kartar Singh Duggal etc.
