Last Sunday [21st January], director Onir ran Mumbai Marathon to raise donation for 'The India Education Revival Trust'. After participating in the 6 km run stretch, he has fallen ill and is currently recovering at his residence.

What happened? 'Kuch nahin', he says in jest, 'On Sunday I participated in the Marathon and here I am recuperating at home now'! But did he actually run 6 km or did he crash after running around for 500 meters only?

'Ha ha', he tries to perk himself in spite of sounding weak, 'I am not a hot shot celebrity who will run for say a km or two and then walk away after being photographed and gaining media coverage. I actually ran an entire distance but crashed soon after.'

So what does he do next? 'Kaam, aur kya! Once I recover which hopefully should be soon, I should be back on my feet and up and running!'

Here is wishing Onir a speeding recovery!
