View SALAAM-E-ISHQ Premiere - Picture GalleryIt has been barely a few days since the first promo of GANDHI MY FATHER has been unveiled on the small screen but the response from audience as well as Industry circles has been tremendous.

If reports are to be believed (while being considerably substantiated by the first look), producer Anil Kapoor has a winner in hand, what with Akshaye
Khanna and Darshan Jariwala (who plays Mahatma Gandhi) said to have come up with brilliant performances.

Written and directed by Feroz Abbas Khan who has been an acclaimed play director, GANDHI MY FATHER is a sensitive tale about the troubled relation shared between Mahatma Gandhi and his son Harilal.

The film has also been noticed for its interesting tagline that reads - "To people he was a father, To his son he was a father he never had"!

GANDHI MY FATHER is looking at an August 3 release.
