A tribute to Charlie Chaplin

Charles ChaplinIn the new age where the technology has become so strong that man cannot live a single bit without the use of technology. There are new inventions day in and day out, use of sound in the cinema is one of them. Variety of sound is used in the films to bring it closer to life, but in the yester years, technology was not so strong, but still the medium of cinema was used effectively by the then super stars, to entertain people. That is the reason they are still the greatest of the entertainers.

Gipsy Video has taken the initiative to pay tribute to the greats of that era 'Charles Chaplin' and 'Laurel & Hardy'. The tribute will be in the form of a series video CD's of their great work offered to the nation.

'We wanted the new generation of India to experience absolute entertainment provided by the legends of humor & comedy, Chaplin and Laurel & Hardy, which we grew watching in our childhood days,' said Amit Chedda of Gipsy Video when asked about the golden collection of Charlie Chaplin.

This is also the 30th death anniversary year of Charlie Chaplin. He was born on 16th April 1889 and passed away on 25th Dec 1977.
