Bollywood Trade News Network
The Industry is a buzz on how Vivek reminiscent of his COMPANY days is back again in the gangster role as the dreaded 'Maya Dolas' in SHOOT OUT AT LOKHANDWALA. Insiders who have seen the rushes rave about the realistic portrayal and the integrity & authenticity he has brought to ‘Maya Dolas' character.
It has also been reported lately that Vivek refused to dance to a song that had Aishwarya name on the lyrics for SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA. According to sources he was very dignified and tactfully told the director to give the lyrics, which went like 'Bipasha, Mallika, Priyanka ya ho Aishwarya Rai…to some other Actor. Eventually the gangster influenced song, sung by the irrepressible Mika, and had Tusshar mouthing the lines.
According to the report, though Vivek could have done the lines to get even with Ash, being dignified, he let go off the opportunity to embarrass her.
Seems like Vivek Oberoi has left his past behind, and like his COMPANY days is concentrating to bring integrity to his craft as a dreaded gangster in SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA.
Looks like the realistic gangster roles suits Vivek to the T, what with COMPANY, OMKARA and now SHOOT OUT AT LOKHANDWALA.
