GURU producer Mani's brother dies in an accident

View GURU Music Release - Picture GalleryThe producer of the critically acclaimed YUVA and the box-office hit GURU, G Srinivasan, died in an accident, in Patlikuhal, 30 kilometres from Manali, yesterday (Sunday). As per our local sources, Mr. Srinivasan was trekking at village Charanag in Patlikuhal when he slipped and fell into a 30 feet deep gorge.

According to the head constable of Patlikuhal police chowki, Sher Singh, on the request G Srinivasan's wife Sandhya, no postmortem has been conducted and his body has been handed over to the bereaved family. The body will be flown to Chennai via Kullu's Bhuntar airport today.

For those who don't know, G Srinivasan is the brother of noted film director Mani Ratnam and is survived by his wife Sandhya and three daughters.'
