After a break of around two years, Smriti Mishra would be seen on the silver screen once again in DIL DOSTI Etc, which is directed by Manish Tiwary. She was last seen in KAL-YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW [Sep 2005], which released with near zero publicity and sunk without a trace. With DIL DOSTI Etc., Smriti would be hoping for a better result as it comes from the production house of Prakash Jha.

In the film, Smriti plays the role of an attractive but sharp tongue prostitute named Vaisali. Her strength lies in the fact that she never gets emotionally attached to her customers.

A campus film about youngsters set in Delhi University, DIL DOSTI Etc. stars Shreyas Talpade, Imaad Shah and Nikita Anand in the lead and is full of realism and black humor.
