Anupam Kher's acting school ACTOR PREPARES, is always making news with its innovations. Apart from having a visiting faculty of noted actors and directors who interact with its students, Actor Prepares has begun a practice of inviting news making professionals for such stimulating interactions.

First in the series was British cult director Danny Boyle who is currently shooting in the city. Now Imtiaz Ali, director of the critically acclaimed film JAB WE MET was grilled by the students to find out what it takes to climb the road to success in the world of showbiz. Ali disarmingly asked the students not to behave like journo. What he perhaps did not want them to scoop was the fact that his road to stardom began by directing Anupam Kher's hit television serial ‘Imtihaan’ some years ago. Was that interactive session Ali's way of paying Guru Dakshina?
