Director Madhur Bhandarkar has mostly been associated with low-budgeted, women-oriented subjects. The trend started with the critically acclaimed CHANDNI BAR and continues with his current venture, FASHION, starring top actress Priyanka Chopra.

However, the male fans of Madhur Bhandarkar and his style of cinema will be happy to know that FASHION may well be his last women-centric movie for a while. As per the director, his next project will be about three male prisoners, aptly titled JAIL. Madhur promises that it will be another hard-hitting subject.

While on Bhandarkar, he has already completed the scripting of FASHION and will commence shooting as soon as Priyanka completes her portions of the Abhishek starrer, DRONA.
