2007 has been a mixed year for Vishesh Films. While both AWARAPAN and DHOKHA got critical acclaim, none of them exactly set the cash registers ringing. While AWARAPAN managed to cover it's cost to a good extent, DHOKHA was a massive commercial failure.

Now Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt would be pinning their hopes on SHOWBIZ, which as per the current release plan may arrive on the last Friday of the year, i.e. 28th December.

The film's promotion has kick started sans any fanfare with a song picturised on the film's debutant lead Tushar Jalota. The film's leading lady is Mrinalini Sharma who was last seen in Bhatt's AWARAPAN.

Directed by choreographer turned film maker Raju Khan, the film promises to expose the underbelly of show-business and in true Bhatt style looks at combining a hard hitting theme with commercial ingredients.
